Most websites are slow, cluttered, and quietly selling your browsing data to strangers. We think that's a bad look for an organization asking for your trust. Here is our promise, in plain English.
It Loads Fast. Even On A Bad Connection.
Most websites have to ask a faraway computer "hey, what goes on this page?" every single time you click something; that takes time, especially on spotty signal or an older phone. Ours doesn't do that. We build every page ahead of time, like printing a flyer instead of handwriting it fresh for every visitor. That's why it loads fast, even on the slowest connection in the reddest dirt road in Georgia.
We're Not Watching You.
A lot of sites quietly follow you around the internet after you leave; that is what all those cookie pop-ups are really about. We don't. Our analytics tool can tell us "200 people visited today" without ever knowing who you are, what you clicked, or where else you've been online. You're a visitor here, not a product.
Built To Work However You Browse.
Not everyone uses the internet the same way. Some people need more contrast to read comfortably. Some get dizzy from animations. Some use a screen reader instead of their eyes. We built a little toolbox for that (in the bottom-right corner of every page) so you can turn on high contrast, highlight every link, or freeze all motion, instantly, no settings menu required.
Who Actually Built This.
This site is built and kept running by Mercury Media Partners, a small team that genuinely nerds out about this stuff.
As a thank-you to the disability community, who taught them most of what they know about building a site like this, they donate part of what they earn to Guiding Eyes for the Blind, where their legally blind founder got her guide dog.
